Aphera provides commands for copying, pasting, and transferring adjustments between photos. These are available in the Edit menu.

Copy and Paste

Shortcut Action
Cmd+Shift+C Copy Adjustments — copies the current photo’s adjustments to the clipboard
Cmd+Shift+V Paste Adjustments — pastes selected adjustments to the current selection
Cmd+Shift+B Paste Balance — pastes only balance values to the current selection

Paste Adjustments and Paste Balance apply to all photos in the current selection. Which adjustments are pasted depends on the Select Adjustments configuration.

Select Adjustments

Cmd+Shift+J opens the Select Adjustments picker. This dialog controls which adjustments are included when using Paste Adjustments and Adjust from Previous Photo.

Balance toggles:

  • Exposure
  • Temperature
  • Tint
  • Contrast
  • Shadows
  • Highlights
  • Saturation

Editing toggles:

  • Image Stack
  • Crop

Use Cmd+A within the picker to select all. Each toggle has a single-key shortcut (shown underlined in the picker).

Apply from Previous Photo

Shortcut Action
Cmd+B Balance from Previous Photo — applies the previous photo’s balance values
Cmd+J Adjust from Previous Photo — applies selected adjustments from the previous photo

“Previous photo” is the photo immediately before the current one in the collection sequence.

Adjust from Previous Photo uses the same adjustment selection configured in Select Adjustments (Cmd+Shift+J).

Resetting

Cmd+R Reset Balance (or Reset Crop when in Crop mode)
Cmd+Shift+R Reset All Adjustments

Reset Balance resets only the seven balance controls. Reset All Adjustments resets everything: balance, image stack, and crop.

Undo and Redo

All editing operations are undoable, including selection and navigation changes. A toast notification confirms each undo or redo action.
